As a LiveChat Service, we have experienced significant growth in recent years and have evolved from being a purely chat crew provider to becoming a conversational service provider under the name Conversation24. With our CPaaS (Conversational Platform as a service) solution, we occupy a prominent position when it comes to online customer contact, in which our platform brings together channels (web chat, whatsapp, FB, SMS, RCS, Viber, WeChat), payments, chatbots and human chat operators for the ultimate customer experience: Conversational Commerce.
To steer our growth commercially in the right direction, we are looking for a Sales Director who likes to roll up his sleeves. In this position, you are ultimately responsible for the contact with our customers worldwide. You will build an effective network and be one of the coordinating forces behind our internationalisation. You know what it takes to bring in new customers and make a difference with existing ones. You are a real goalie who never misses an opportunity to score. In addition, you work closely with the other disciplines within Conversation24, because you agree that selling does not stop with a signed offer.
Some of your tasks/responsibilities:
- You take care of the sales process
- You will ensure the retention and expansion of sales opportunities and actively manage accounts and acquisitions
- You will lead a team of colleagues, which will also participate in the sales activities
- You will approach prospects and existing relations and follow up on leads provided through other channels
- You are a sparring partner for both our customers and the management
- You will ensure the right alignment and good cooperation with your colleagues
- You make quotations, manage the quotation process and keep your finger on the pulse of implementations and evaluations
- You will ensure clear reporting of what you do
- You will actively contribute to the organisation and staffing of network meetings, fairs and conferences
Who are you?
- You have at least a college degree and relevant (international) work experience, for example as a sales or account manager
- You have a good command of the English language in word and writing
- You are by nature a real networker and know how to convince people
- You are enterprising, pro-active and keen on signals and opportunities within the market
- You have a talent for creative solutions and are not afraid of a challenge
- You have affinity or experience with conversational commerce
- You have a strong character and are commercial at your fingertips
- You are a real doer who does not wait, but simply gets to work.
